I don't see the difference in meeting someone here versus any other site on the internet. If we have a connection, we have a connection, and I won't arbitrarily deny it out of hand because of the circumstances of our meeting.

Also it's a plus that I can say I'm polysexual hetro-romantic and not get a blank look in return. It's a lot more telling than when I have to just go with bisexual or 'I only date girls' when asked irl.

I would not date somebody from this site. Mainly because we would probably live in 2 different timezones. So that could make thinks kinda awkward.

Provided that she lives somewhat close to me and we have similar interests and personalities and I find her attractive. I have some higher standards when it comes to dating, but once we start its pretty easy going and I will spoil the ever loving hell out of anyone I date because if they meet those standards I know they are worth keeping around (assuming they don't cheat on me like everyone else has)

Desperation is when you settle for people who say 'fuck me' all the time and have absolutely no other redeeming qualities.

Desperation is believing something will work out between the both of you when their one dimensional personality makes it impossible to have a regular conversation. It's blindly accepting that the sheer level of social incompetence for talking and that they want to do nothing productive but fuck all the time overwhelms any sort of solid relationship and being okay with it.

It's basically dropping your dignity to settle with someone who is pretty much on par with a blow up doll.
