Perhaps downvotes could be reimplemented to make some people happy, but they require the user to be logged in? Then restricting one downvote per account per comment or image would be easy

isn't that how it was already?
the mass-downvoting was coming from multiple accounts
and presumably multiple IP addresses

As of now, voting does not require an account. Tying votes to accounts might reduce mass downvoting, but will probably not eliminate the problem entirely.

oh it must be just IPs then
if i upvote something, from a different browser session where i'm logged out, i then can't upvote again from the session where i'm logged in
My end has pictures blacklisted even though my blacklist is completely empty, anyone have an idea as to why? I'm using the site on iPhone but it does it no matter if I'm on the mobile site design or not. Any help would be appreciated!

try going to
rule34.xxx/index.php?page=account&s=options
and setting your post threshold to -9999

I was using the md5 search option to attempt to find the original images associated with the sample_* images I had downloaded earlier, using the md5 part of the sample image filenames. This only worked for not quite a third of the images I attempted to find. For all others, I received the standard list page as if I had not searched for anything particular.

looks like you can use this page to get the post URL for any image hash (both 32-char and 40-char hashes):
rule34.xxx/hotlink.php?img=<hash>
example:
rule34.xxx/hotlink.php?img=2e529d50e6c304646cfce3265884980a
rule34.xxx/hotlink.php?im...d7f4686b01e890741391bbfbc
post #2456867 has an empty filename ("/images/2261/.jpg")
and the file is served with content-type: "application/octet-stream"
the hotlink page takes you there when you pass it an empty string: rule34.xxx/hotlink.php?img=

fantastic
next issue,
this guy's username is only spaces:
rule34.xxx/index.php?page=account&s=profile&id=40913
somehow causing his uploads to appear on this page:
rule34.xxx/index.php?page=account&s=profile&id=0
Why doesn't the Tag Search Feature appear in Favorites? Also is it possible to use User:Stevemagegod_Naruto to search all the Naruto images you've added to your favorites? And if it isnt can you add the Feature I have a lot of images added to my Favorites and instead of going through all of them one by one Id like to search by tag.

no this will search your uploads, not favourites
searching favourites was probably never implemented because it would require a new database query - favourites are recorded in a separate table i believe

i think i was just checking to see where the user IDs started
if the ID parses as a valid float (?!) but doesn't match any user, you end up on that page
for example,
these go to my profile:
?page=account&s=profile&id=+61529.000
?page=account&s=profile&id=+61529.00000000000001
these go to the buggy page:
?page=account&s=profile&id=+61529.001
?page=account&s=profile&id=-61529.000

Why isnt the Database there though? paheal.net Has one where you can do upvoted_by=Stevemagegod Naruto. And it gives all the stuff you upvoted with the Naruto tag. (Which .xxx has the same upvote and Favorite System) but no way to search the same way. This site is better in the sense you can search by Fetish like Pregnant but no way to search those tags you've favorited.
