You didn't really say that though, you suggested that people should just play however they want, which would be chaos and not fun. Well I suggested a format, because like juicyholes said, if everyone just uses whatever they want it would be chaos. I think = = is easy and simple enough for anyone to use.

Example:
=You hear the sounds of foot steps coming from behind you and they are getting closer.=

The fact that you have to use symbols to clear anything up is dumb.

So I guess you can always perfect tell when someone if typing the difference between the narrations, what someone is saying, and what they are thinking?

If that's the case I guess you can tell me which is which for the following set of lines.

So quotation marks don't exist and alluding to being in thought isn't a possible action when the thought being thought can also be something said out loud.


Instead, Bad roleplayers use .#$%@*%$ to show that they are thinking.

One liners and bad grammar/spelling put me off for sure. It shows there is a lack of any thought being put into the roleplay, I also dislike when someone just suddenly stops replying in the middle of a roleplay without even giving any indication that they have to leave or anything and just either never reply or come back hours later expecting me to still be into it.
