Rule of thumb: Never say or play with anyone who goes "Heheheh", like ever. That is clear indication that only a half-assed effort is going to be made.

How else am I supposed to laugh or giggle? Do I just go huehuehuehue like Stardust Speedway??
I'd be inclined to portray laughter as such:
*[muse] cackles like a tipsy hyena*

Dont:
Play canon characters in first person. It's a huge turn off
If somebody is wanting to fuck say, Dawn from Pokemon? Constantly typing out "You" isn't the same as "I thrusted on into Dawn's pussy!"

- 1 and 2: Yeah, it takes two to tango. So it would be nice if less players were waiting to get the whole rp served to them on a silver platter. Discussion and scene-building are key.
- 3 and 4: I Can hold my own in the writing department, but to be fair roleplaying is not exactly the same as writing a collaborative story. You need more pen and paper roleplaying and less fanfictioning.
- 5 and 6: Fair points.
- 7, 8, 9 and 10: I do compromise, I'm not selfish, I try to be respectful and have some manners and I don't usually just poof. I can't say the same of pretty much everyone else here.
- 11: This point sounds a bit conceited to be fair. There's no problem in repeating something once. The "follow instructions" part makes it sound even worse.
Seriously, if I had some VERY IMPORTANT rules they would be:
- Don't be a selfish, conceited fuck. You are not entitled to anything from others.
- Be nice, respectful and show some damn basic manners. Even if you reject someone you can take 10 seconds to respectfully say no.
Yeah, that should be a pretty good base. Quality of RP comes second to quality of human being, IMO.
