Im a very strange. You can find everthing from mozart, al green and ink spots to skrillex, metallica and DMX on my playlist (last count was over 1200 songs).

Most my recent favorites are alot of techno, dubstep or house but im partial to jazzy or smooth music do to growing up on it, im a fan of rap and metal too but will listen to stuff like j-pop and indie music too.

Im listing to Savant right now, 'vinter' and 'screaming girl of the seas' in particular. Good tracks.

A bit of a connoisseur, are we? Same here.

I listen to almost anything: Metal, classical, jazz, electronica, even a bit of bluegrass every now and then. The only I don't listen to is dubstep and some other electronic genres, mainly because it's their main aesthetics drive me nuts. I even like listening to combinations and fusion genres (eg. Symphonic metal mentioned above) and seeing how well 2 different genres go together.

Im kinda partial to the eletronic type music for the simeple fact i suffer from chronic migraines and something about the pulsing beats can ease the pain at times. But yea, im something of a connoisseur of music.

Maybe the tempo has something to do with it...

Something like that. Anything with a good bassline can do it though.

Or the bass, different alternating rhythms of low notes could potentially soothe the inner ear by way of massage through vibration.
