You are misled. I am in a loving, respectful relationship, but in the bedroom we play with bondage and domination. You talk as if it is a choice between one or the other.

I didn't mean to sound judgmental, I was refering to the thread in which only the extremes were discussed, and I thought I might bring myself in with that opinion. Also I think that if you have a loving relationship it "doesn't really matter" what you do in the bedroom because you both obviously are equal (as viewed by the other) and loving eachother...

I just meant that the relationship should be valued higher than domination phantasies and that domination phanrasies if taken to an extreme might be a danger to a relationship because the other person mighz only do that because he/she loves her partner and not because he/she likes it as well. Again I'm not judging, I'm just trying to warn I guess.

I'm the same. I used to just like the idea of being dominant. Probably because I was a tomboy and used to wrestle. But now I'm just as much or even more into being dominated. I don't really have a problem with submission and domination myself, just how people act with the roles. Some use dominance as an excuse to be selfish, some use submissiveness as an excuse to be lazy.
