I got a DM earlier today titled "Get a Life", and it was quite the interesting thing, let me tell you. I admittedly didn't read it--the title was enough to tell me it would've been utterly hateful--and I deleted it immediately.

But, while it doesn't really surprise me since people on the Internet are getting more abusive and antisocial every day, I've got to admit it's disappointing to see some crap like that. I can take things on here a bit too seriously, sure, but that doesn't mean I don't have a life outside of the site.

But they wouldn't have sent me something like that if they really wanted to help me get one... as if I don't already have one. It looks like I'll have to be more cautious with the DMs I get next time, because this sort of thing isn't what I'm here for.

Then again few months ago I got one and deleted it since the subject was blank it just said, 'you're an actual retard'. I was just whatever about it since there is people wasting their time hating for no reason.

That said, I really wish this site had a block function, there's some hairy shit going on in the DMs sometimes

I would use this feature purely to block annoying people who pop in my DM's with "want rp?"

That being said, I also wish we could report DM's specifically, because I've had some uncomfortable encounters, both with people who shouldn't be on this site as well as some abuse.

You could, you know, just report them direcelty. Oh, the things I've been shown.

I'm aware, but I'd prefer a button in the DM window, kinda like the "Report spam" button we already have.

Honestly surprised no one has sent me hate mail, just 1 instance of "never comment again" and "cringe", either way it's nice to know i've effected the lives of people i'll never meet.
I did get a DM asking about cosplaying as a number of women from someone who didn't know i'm a dude, after i answered they never messaged back.
