Has anyone had nightmare creatures in their dreams?

Since the mid 90's I did, they look like trash cans that spin with no lid, they had weird markings on their body, & I felt a cold breeze on my back when they showed up in my dreams.

In 2010 they stopped showing up in my dreams b/c in 2009 I felt real true love for the character Judith from the movie Where The Wild Things Are so in 2010 I bought the figurine of her, I then realized that do to true love, & having her she some how stopped my nightmare creatures from showing up. A few years later I bought the book version figurine of her then a few more years later I bought a custom pillow of her from a pic from the box case of the 1st figurine box from a blown up pic of the box & placed the pillow case on the back of my bed where the ladder sits.

Very on brand with this site but the way I got over my nightmares was just imagining having sex with the things in my dreams, like a Jeff the killer rape fantasy and shit

Sorry, I cannot relate. I don't remember any of my dreams.

I used to have nightmares about aliens and then eventually big scaly things in the water eating me alive, couple instances of zombies, getting impaled/crushed by some kinda drill once, now i don't have anything memorable.
Even in my sleep there's only emptiness for me, no nightmares, no dreams, nothing.
Unless i have too much hot sauce with my dinner.

I have a nightmare about this horrible creature from this place called the "IRS" showing up at my house very scary shit

Had a few. One was the slim anthropomorphic rabbits staring at me from everywhere and a mad scientist chasing me and twisting my neck at the end. There was also like a bunch of weird bug-like yellow creatures that would dissolve anything they touch. At some point there was a period in my life where i had severe insomnia to the point of getting panic attacks and fever-like visions in the middle of the night, one of which was an image of a pile of flesh and blood on the side of a children's bed judging by the cartoonish sheets and bunch of glowing stickers on the wall. It was, again, more like an image than a scene i observed, but still pretty creepy tbh.

Not really a nightmare, more of a recurring dream char
he was a man in a grey suit and hat, holding a black umbrella, his eyesw and nose were obscured by an unrealistic looking darkness beneath his brim
he had a constant straight face no matter where he was, and he was always at a distance, watching me

I thought this thread was about the game from the 90's and it made me lookup if it was any results. It does.

Not really a creature, but Chucky from Child’s Play pretty much haunted my nightmares when I was much younger, eventually he just stopped showing up.

had a dream once where i was demonically compelled up into a treehouse then further hypnotized and ravaged by a creature that was like a tall, thin humanoid mass of void and static

I don't dream anymore, and when I do they are but faint glimpses into the inner insanity of my mind which yearns for freedom and control, they are not scary, they are not happy, I do not feel in them, sleep does not weaken my grasp and I understand I see mere illusions...

That aside, I used to dream about being chased down by dogs and my knees giving out, something along those lines, been chased by dozens of things really I can't remember them all, I haven't dreamed anything too abnormal though, like yeah I have some dreams where everything is just kinda fucked and nothing makes sense, but all the elements present are stuff that come from this reality. Also, I've been watching a lot of anime, so for some reason I can speak and understand Japanese perfectly in some dreams, but its all bullshit anyway since I can't actually speak or understand a good part of it.

i have a variety of nightmare creatures and most of them are indescribable, but i have this one creature that showed up once. it was like made put of bones and thin flesh with a deer skull for a face, it was long and spindly and its jaw was barely connected to its skull and it could like kinda dislocate it at will? it was horrifying and killed my grandma so that was fun

Ice had one nightmare creature. It's a huge humanoid with massive horns. Grey skin with darkened limbs once you get closer to the hands and feet.

Kinda wanna fuck it tbh.
