Hey! Seeing as I don't leave many comments and mostly mail people, I've sort of noticed that a lot of my mails end up with basically the same titles (mostly just me saying hi) and wondered what you all title your mails?
I imagine others might not be so enthusiastic about responding to a mail just titled 'Hey!!' or something similar and was hoping to figure something else to use. Also just curious ^^;

I myself title very strangely. They don't even match what the bloody mail is about lol. When I do title it for what it's supposed to be talked about, I do. That only goes for when I'm talking to a mod or straight up asking a commenter if they want to do something.

My titles vary to see if the other person likes what I'm putting down

as my name might imply, i rarely have the courage to mail people first .///////.
so on the occasion that i do, it's usually something pretty simple like a hesitant "um, hello-!" or even a short "*peeks in*" or something like that, hehe

I very rarely messages people, but when I do I tend to title it something relevant to whatever the topic might be lol.

I dont title most of mine.

Usually mine are just Hi, Forum, Hello, Favs, etc.

usually do like if I see they've thrown a scene or reposted a pic start with that as title

Oftentimes I leave the title intending to come back to it. Spend 5-15 minutes on the message and get eager to send it, forgetting I haven't titled the damn thing.

When I do title them, I try to avoid 'Hi' or 'Hey' because everybody seems to title their mail that way, I try to tailor the title to the person I'm mailing. Normally I'll just put something like 'Appreciation' or 'Lil Gift for You'.

That said, haven't mailed someone in a hot minute.

I rarely send them out, but when I have I usually title them something related to what the other person said that prompted me to message them.

sometimes i title mails, other times i don't. sometimes they're strange but funny, other times they're normal

Tbh, I get the struggle.
I just go with the piss poor generic "Hey there!" And let it at that.
Ofcourse, unless it's someone I was actively flirting around in forums and then end up taking it to the PMs, so it's based on/around what we were flirting about, if ya get what I mean.

I title what I'm asking them. Then in the txt I elaborate on the question, say hi, and try not to come off as a crazy mean bitch.

I title mine to show I care and genuinely curious.

I usually write the topic, like where i found them and what I’m replying to. But sometimes i leave it with no topic at all. Sometimes i feel like that leaves the person wondering what’s inside and they’ll be curious x}
