If I understand what you're asking for correctly, the saddest album I've ever heard is News of the World by Queen. The songs range from a little depressing if you pay close attention to the lyrics to overtly, bawl your eyes out and look around for a knife with which to slash your wrists sad, and even the cover art is a major downer.

The title and the body kind of don’t make sense to me, but an album that gives me that feel is Long Term Effects of SUFFERING by $uicideboy$. There is some haha hehe hoho stuff but there is some deep shit in between. The final song of the album is fucking phenomenal. I would say it’s the deepest song there is on that album.

Kind of a copout since most of the album isn't sad, and it doesn't really sound "beautiful", but As Good As Dead by City Morgue has some of the most tragic, painful and borderline hopeless songs I've ever heard. Two of the best examples being Peeling Scabs and Screaming At The Rain imo.

Ever heard of Preacher's Daughter by Ethel Cain? It's about a woman who grew up in a Christian family where she was raped by her father as a child and eventually leaves home only to be murdered by a cannibalistic psychopath. Most of the tracks, except for Gibson Girl, Ptolemaea and August Underground are incredibly beautiful (with the three exceptions being threatening or just plain horrifying, I never feel safe listening to Ptolemaea), and as you'd expect from the story it is indeed very tragic. The most beautiful ones on the album are the final three-Televangelism, Sun-Bleached Flies and Strangers, the last of which has some very dark subject matter but is nonetheless beautiful and heartbreaking

...I can't believe I'm describing all this on a fucking porn site. Anyway listen to Preacher's Daughter (also Kraftwerk, they aren't relevant to this topic but I LIKE THEM)

I don't think any of the albums I listen to end with sad songs. Plenty with sad songs in the middle, none with sad songs at the end.

Nothing the albums end on, but All Dead All Dead and Spread Your Wings by Queen, Hello by Evanescence (thinking about it makes me tear up), The Lonely Man (Theme from The Incredible Hulk), I Will Wait For You by Connie Francis (i'm crying now thanks to the Futurama episode Jurassic Bark, 1 of saddest goddamn things i've ever seen), probably not something that'd make most others cry, but Ether by Nothingface gets to me (Where we belong there's noone to hurt, it's some place where we can't be found), The Last Of The Star Makers from Courage The Cowardly Dog, Feathery Wings by Voltaire.

Not specifically an album, but out of all the bands I listen to, the Gorillaz has some great ones, and the saddest are probably Latin Simone off G-Sides, and it's Spanish brother, Latin Simone (Que Pasa Contigo), which detail a conversation if you play them together where the Spanish version is attempting to console the very clearly suicidal English version.
