Why is there so little pubic hair in porn and r34??

I know this is a pretty stupid question but there is a lot of the time very little to no pubic hair in porn and it leaves me wondering why?? It’s not very easy to shave and I think unshaven looks way hotter but I just wanna know why unshaven is the norm in porn.

Personally, I think it's preference. I personally greatly dislike bush. Even on myself, I don't like Public hair. I'm not against going down on a girl who has it, but it's cumbersome, generally uncomfortable, and unattractive (for both parties). (Again, just my personal opinion)

I second this. Ive heard that up until the 80s or 90s it was normal in porn for ladies to have a full bush. Even men these days shaving their nether regions, I do it personally just for cleanliness and convenience cuz I tend to get cum into my pubes from wanking and with full force pubic hair it can be tough to clean out. I'm guessing the difficulty of drawing realistic pubic hair is the main reason there's so little of it depicted in the art here. The fact that the "Dolphin Smooth" crotch look has been very in vogue for the last 20 years or so means there is very little motivation for artists who specialize in female or feminine characters to improve or even bother learning pube drawing skills.

It's true. There's plenty of "vintage" porn from the 70s and 80s on XHamster, plus a few even older "Stag Film" clips from the 50s all the way back to the 1920s. Lots of natural bush in all of those.
