"Cutsie" Speak
So I don't know if I'm describing the term right but how do you all feel about those subs that seem to exclusively talk all cutesie?

I'm talking using words like "hihi" or "Okies" or just defaulting to calling the dom "daddy/mommy" right off the bat. Combine that with someone who types maybe a sentence or two at most and it just feels--to me specifically--really low effort and kind of boring.

So I'm curious what everyone else here thinks. For the submissive who do talk like that, what's the appeal for you? For the people who don't find it annoying, why do you like it?

I do that occasionally, but only if it fits the personality of the character I'm rping as and their dynamic with the dom

See I don't know what it is but it almost feels like it's signposting "Hello, I have no personality, please insert your penis into my orifice now."

Logically that can't be the case but 9/10 it ends up being a very stale interaction

I blame anime. Too many female characters that are precisely this. Cyphers and infantile cutie dolls with their haircuts being the only difference. Receptacles.

Meh I like it to an extent and as long as it’s not overboard but I also hate anyone that calls me mommy without asking or even knowing if that’s what I like so that part, I’ll immediately ghost them if they do that

But I find it cute as long as they don’t do it the whole time maybe just when the mood is right. That really gets me but when it the whole time? No go

Personally i’m not into receiving it but if i really bond with someone i could maybe slightly be playful in a similar way and if they consent to it.
I don’t involve ppl into any dynamic unless it’s consented to and I would also expect the same with others. So a big no to being called stuff randomly unless asked for.

Just realised that op might refer to text roleplays?

Yeah but at least with the characters that immediately come to mind for ME they have actual personality to back it up.

Like Patricia Thompson from Soul Eater acts cutesy and girly and infantile until you a) piss her off or b) get her revved up enough that violence is the only fun response. Even beyond then there's somber moments.

Cutesiness solely to be cutesy is just...."okay that's neat, now how can you tell me what you want and be all 'uwu whatever you want daddy I'm just your little [self objectifying assignment here]"

I try to tolerate everyone and their kinks but I just can't with this one. It get's tiring real quick once they start acting like they can't think for themselves. I still try and give them a chance but the minute they type something like, "*I hesitantly do as you say*", I'm done. Message deleted. I have yet to find someone who can make that kind of stuff appealing. It's so boring.

As long as it's not repetitively done and it's in proper character, I don't mind it too much.

Correct that's what I INTENDED but you don't necessarily need to limit it to SOLELY text roleplays.

Yeah, it's almost like much of it is made to cater to one particular demographic...

Cutesy talk from 4 year old kids is cute and makes sense since they haven't quite mastered the art of verbal communication yet. An adult talking like that is creepy and just makes me want to slap them, even moreso in a sexual situation.
