(I made this thread mainly as a Star Wars thread, but I added Star Trek to the title just to have a chance of more people answering, lol.)

Even since the first Star Wars movie was released in 1977, the franchise has received movies, cartoons, comic books, novels, video games, anime, etc. So, what are your favorites? Also, try not to let the thread degenerate into an argument about if Canon or Legends is better. While I do overall prefer Legends (though it has its very fair share of issues, imo), I think that both have generated great and entertaining pieces of media for Star Wars, and it's also not that serious.

For me, it will always be the 2008 Clone Wars TV series as that was what introduced me to Star Wars when I was a kid watching Cartoon Network. I managed to watched almost every single episode when it first aired. For comic books, the Star Wars: Old Republic comic series is my overall favorite, but the various Marvel Darth Vader comics (especially the 2017 series and Dark Visions) are all excellent.

Never watched Star Trek in my life but watched and know a lot about Star Wars.

I have to say the mandolorian is the best. It feels like what Star Wars should be. Not whatever Disney is doing, but season 3 wasn’t all that great and boba fett was really just mando season 2.5. So I don’t really know where this series is headed.

Since I put Star Trek in the title, I probably should give an example, lol.

I have consumed way less Star Trek media than Star Wars, so forgive me if I have bad taste. My favorite shows are Deep Space 9 and Lower Decks (they're the only ones I've finished). I guess my favorite comic was the crossover one with Doctor Who.

I have many favorites, it's hard to decide.
Favorite movie is Revenge of the Sith. Empire Strikes Back is better, I just like Revenge more.
Favorite series is Andor. A very interesting, series take on Star Wars that I'm all for. Can't wait for season two.
Favorite video game is probably Republic Commando. An awesome shooter that I've played through about five times now.
Favorite novel is probably one of the ones in the Republic Commando series, as they're the only ones I've read lol.
Favorite comic series is probably Darth Vader Vol. 2, the 2017 series, though I also love both volumes of Doctor Aphra and the Kana Jarrus comic series.

Btw, ask me anything about canon and I could go on for hours! Please, none of my irl friends like Star Wars so I have no one else to talk to about it who aren't toxic :(
