^I'm sure some of us remember this from awhile back but it made me curious. How many "fictosexuals" are on R34? Would any of you consider yourself one?

For the sake of discussion, I'll define "fictosexual" as any person who feels romantic and/or sexual attraction EXCLUSIVELY towards fictional character(s).

Sounds like a severe disconnect from reality, makes me feel pretty sad because that seems like a symptom of some underlying mental health concerns.

While I'm attracted to fictional characters, I do not consider myself to be a fictosexual, as I do not find myself to be exclusively attracted to fictional characters. I am simply attracted to them, and I only fantasize of having sex with them, like (almost) everyone else does here on R34, I'm pretty sure lol

Wait a minute! I been seeing some crazy weird awkward unnecessary things in my life. I don't wanna laugh but how ridiculous can you be?

This man have an actual wedding ceremony with a fictional character we know on here with blue hair. He even make holographic character of her I don't wanna sound like a dumbass or smartass of this rants here.

People out here is losing their mind right now I love my fictional character but i wouldn't marry her I would draw her and make her life more beautiful in the art world than reality. This have really crossing the line here you guys need a real woman in your life and experience a great sex. People would be laughing at you if you say *oh I married fictional character off a tv show*

What going on here? Sorry for this rants but this is way out of control here

Part of me feels this way. Because I'm more interested in "drawn" poses than real ones. Actually, I don't know why. And I wonder if I'm the only one who has this problem?

But no, I am not one myself. I have heard some girls tell me before that they have no attraction to fleshy humans but consume a lot of hentai, so yeah, I believe it. It's probably becoming more common with the availability of pornographic and romantic fictional materials (compared to what previous generations got) paired with a greater ability to economically isolate oneself from society.

But why tho?
