Nowadays I just stick to singleplayer games and I've fallen behind on multiplayer games, I like to be able to pause, take it slow and take my time to explore. I still love multiplayer games though and I'd like to play some of them again, I wish I knew about healsluts back then, I would have loved to be a good little healslut, taking care of the men on the frontline haha~
I enjoy both. Sometimes I just want to sit by myself and go through a deep RPG or FPS. Other times I want to hang out with friends for some multiplayer action in Fortnite or our group Baldur's Gate 3 game.
Sometimes I do play some multi with friends, DBD for example, but it's more of a way socialize, chat, have fun with friends, than actually playing the game for the sake of achieving something in it.
pvp makes me angry people try too much especially if the game is heavily team reliant you'll constantly get stomped with nothing you can do so I'll take a fun single-player game most of the time pve multiplayer is fine tho
Single player, mainly because of the whole "no friends and my wifi is dogshit" thing, i do have many fond memories of playing ssb and mario kart with the 2 friends i had in the past 20 years.
When I was a kid and teenager, definitely preferred solo experiences. After all, that was the period I played the most content-filled/dense RPGs.
I think now though, I value titles that I can sit down and play with friends. So fighting games, shooters, co-op, etc. is what I mostly play. Still love a good solitary experience though
