What time period would you want to have a vacation in and why?

As a game collector, there are lots of stuff from the Ps2 era I would acquire if I was able to return to the early 2000's.

That’s a pretty smart answer. I think traveling back in time would be pretty useful for getting any old stuff for cheaper prices. It’s a perfect idea for avoiding getting scammed or overcharged.

I thought pretty long and hard and since I can come back at anytime I don’t have to worry about modern medicine. I would probably go to ancient Egypt and find out what really happened there.

Another one could be Rome in the golden age. This would be one just for the spectacle.

Good question... I'd go to Roaring 20's New York with $500 and live life like a sultan lol Buy fur coats and jewelry, cruise around in an enormous Cadillac, hire a jazz band to play the Phantom Express song from Cuphead, get reverse spitroasted by two hot flappers... What a vacation.

I definitely would want to see the missing wonders of the ancient world, like the Colossus of Rhodes. I’d also like to go to ancient egypt to see what the pyramids looked like back in their day. It’s said they used to be covered in marble with a gold tip on top. Or maybe even fully covered in gold until looters peeled that off over time.

Collect all the Sonic comics that'll never be reprinted thanks to penders and all the sega saturn, ps1, n64, and dreamcast games that'll never be ported and/or will become super valuable.
Record as many Saturday morning cartoons, toonami, and cartoon cartoon Fridays blocks as possible to eventually get transferred to dvd.
Get my hands on the mst3k sets they had to stop printing because of toho or whoever withdrawing the rights to the gamera and godzilla movies.
Try all the weird sodas and snacks from around that time and enjoy the few great years before everything turned to shit.

Vacation? Anywhere in time & space? Hmmm. I’d go to ancient Japan; Edo is the capital for perspective. The beautiful Geishas, the temples, architecture, the Samurai clans. I’d like to see modern Japan, too, but I’d rather see it for the historical cultural aspects.

Probably just travel back by a day or so and shitpost in this thread. Would try and aim to get first post tho.
