I think kinks usually develop in defiance of social norm.
This is a really solid take.
1. I'm not sure I'd describe this as a kink, but I imagine the mayhemic nature of orgies affords people greater security and freedom to indulge in their sexuality, than in a one-on-one scenario.
2. Hell yes.
3. BDSM is a huge umbrella term that covers many paraphilias. If you mean physical restraint and speech-denial, specifically, that's been really popular since sex itself. You place a huge amount of trust in your partner, in exchange for giving them free reign over your helpless, squirming soul.
4. Eeeehhh... "Kink" seems too polite a term for this one. Its existence preys on your inner fears of inadequacy and insecurity. It's more dangerous than other kinks because it can really start fucking with your confidence, engendering this feeling that you're an observer in life, undeserving of pleasure. I don't like to judge a person's lifestyle, because I know I'm pretty fucked up myself, but I urge you cuckold-fans out there to love yourself.
I was really expecting to see mommy dommes on this list, that kink has absolutely skyrocketed lately.
