Jokes aside, it's because history and media focuses a lot on the very horny and very(at the time) conventionally attractive rich people. Egyptians aren't any more or less sexy than anybody else. Pharaohs are wealthy alleged demi-Gods who do athletics and fuck for fun. An understanding of Egypt that includes every era and every class station of the country, like all countries, would be pretty normal.

Yeah pretty much. Whenever we eroticize ancient egypt and its aesthetics, we’re almost always focusing on the royalty and all the stuff that concerns the royalty specifically. The times where we aren’t sexualizing that specific aspect of Egypt, we usually draw furry porn of their whole pantheon.
