Making a Game: Redux
Although i'm still looking for the Making a Game thread i posted all my ideas for what i call Super Slash Bros., i figured why not make a new one in case anyone else has ideas they'd care to share and post any new ideas i've got here.
Super Slash Bros. would be a platform fighter and parody of Super Smash Bros. starring various characters from throughout horror fiction of all kinds.
New character idea: (WIP) Michael Reynolds from Illbleed.
Neutral Special: Mr. Banballow, summon the horrifically burned and mutated Mr. Banballow to use his flamethrower on whatever is in front of you (basically Bowser's fire breath).
Up Special: Wood Puppet Spin, grab onto the legs of a Wood Puppet as it spins it's arms round n' around to carry you out of harm's way.
Forward Special?: Rotten Egg Roll/Cashman Jr., send out either a Rotten Egg or miniature Mr. Cashman Spider to roll into or pounce on fighters in front of you.
Down Special?: Trap, a counter that when triggered causes a random trap such as poison gas, a trap door, or saw blades each with their respective affects (Gas stuns the opponent, trap door buries them for a couple seconds, saw blades knock them away and cause damage over several seconds).
Final Slash: Mutation, Michael Reynolds transforms into his true form and disappears and reappears around the stage depending on the players directional inputs and strikes opponents with his head tentacle/bobble thing before transforming again into a giant brain with bat wings and firing a huge lazer through the stage before finally returning to his normal(?) form.
And with him he brings 3 new summons that have a random chance to appear from any filmreel, Oh-no Man (Who charges wildly around the stage swinging his sickles) Mr Cashman (Giant Spider who jumps around randomly onto opponents) and the BullStinger (a huge insect-like monster that acts like Cashman, but is much faster and deals more damage)
The Cashman Spider will take damage on it's own if it hits a wall just like in his first boss fight in Illbleed.
I'm thinking Michael's down slash should have 2 corpses fall on either side of him, with a small random chance that 1 of them will be Dogs Bower from Blue Stinger (as he made a cameo as a corpse in the Killerman stage of Illbleed)
