If you had posted any pics they'd remain even if you deleted your account. I don't know whether your comments would remain after account deletion or not.

They do not. The only thing that shows what was left behind is reply chains. Everything else gets deleted and renamed to deleted (inset numbers, if I remember correctly that is..)
