I've been seeing for a while a lot of posts being wrongly tagged, people simply grab any post with a unknown/anonymous male and starts tagging their favorite character, that can be seem a lot on anime posts, i check the artist profiles and the post to see there no indication of the character being there, in fact some times is more than obvious its not them, such as a different body shape (The male is chubby), missing details (The character have an iconic feature and is not there) or an entire different race.

Tags are an extremely useful feature, if you like something you search it, if you don't you blacklist it, but if you are tagging wrongly it simply takes away the entire point, on other similar topic i even saw posts of a comic the woman is asking her husband to do her and was tagged "Rape".

I just had a similar problem with a guy who keep tagging this pic's faceless male as ren amamiya (p5 joker).

Check the tag story, at least he stopped once i bring it to DMs, he didnt answered back tho, just... stopped.

Similar case with a guy who started mass tagging etna from disgaea as "succubus" (which she isn't she's just a demon who the wikia mentions could "maaaaybe" be a succubus), until i also take it to DMs over it, which seems he understood, as the user removed the tag from the many posts he add it themself.

You're not wrong, but this post really belongs in the "Tag Discussion Thread" stickied at or near the top of the page. Lots of good discussions and advice regarding tagging in there.

Not that the tags on here are incorrect, but my dumbass forgot to tag the artist, mongoart, in these pictures. And for some reason, the site won’t let me fix that. If anyone is open to doing that, it’d be much appreciated.

Found the problem, the source you use seems to be one blocked by the site? So you have to remove it in order to tag the post further. (common issue actually)

Okay, it worked. I’m surprised they had an issue with my source. Given they approved the upload after days of review by moderators

Moderators seem to usually check the image itself, regardless of where you source it, in fact, i think there are some sites not even mods know are restricted by the bad cat?
