Good on you! First off, no-one is forcing you to click on any thumbnail, and secondly I've seen both "feces" (I think it was technically "scat", but same meaning) and "gore" tagged on images where there was none. Sometimes such tags appear on the first of a series of images that don't actually contain them but later images in the series do, other times they're there for no apparent reason.
i don't blacklist, instead i click on images i don't like so i can complain
