I've never done one but I've gotten a lot of mail for it. I feel really bad ignoring them but I feel embarrassed haha. I've been working hard on an erotica project but I've never did roleplay so I feel nervous like I'm going to be bad at it or something. >_<

Are there people who don't RP on this site or is that what people mainly do? Do you wait for comments and then start a cool sounding RP? Just curious how others use the site. I just came for the pictures and wanted to comment on them so I made an account. I didn't know people actually talked to each other this much.

It's slow around the forums but there's definitely a lot of interest for RPs.

No need to apologise for having your requirements, we all do to a degree. Women typically get flooded with mail and guys are generally a bit more outgoing when it comes to mail but a lot of it is more luck than anything else.

Plenty of people here also don't want to RP, some get annoyed at the even the prospect of being asked.

Personally I tend to feel around on the forums, get an idea for who might be interested and such. I find comments to be very short lived, people's attention spans quickly shift and the RPs go silent. That or that person got themselves banned due to commenting too hard.

There is people that RP, there is people that just do dirty talk, there is people that do both and there is people that do neither. You got your full range here. ^^

RPs can be pretty fun, but are time consuming and require a lot more effort than just simple dirty talk.

And yeah, RP can be as limited or open as you would like it to be. Experiment away if that's what you are looking for.

Some people are more open to experimenting, I would suggest to just be clear about what you're looking for / looking to do and see if the other person is on board. The worst thing they can say is no and you can consider doing something different or finding someone more willing to indulge you.

There are definitely people here who will let you try new things and indulge niche kinks.

I tend to accept most requests, with the exception of ones where we have no kink overlap. However, I rarely message first (I'm a worrier, always thinking I'm just going to annoy them) so I don't get a ton of requests.

When it comes to experimenting with rps it all really depends on the person you're rping with. Me I've rped with both men and women, and when it comes to opening myself to new things it depends how long our rps have gone for. I'm currently in two long term rps that have gone on for months now and I'm willing to try new things with them because of how much they've brought to the table. Just remember to be respectful of one's limits.

Plus if you just want to practice with writing rps it never hurts to try non-sexual rps as well, I've done a few romance stories and I feel like they've helped improve on my writing skills. :/

I'll chat about RPing with most people, usually fizzles out before RPs start, people disappear, it gets boring, or our kinks don't align and we just don't get to it. Not too beat up about it, though. Just how it is.
