Specifically, ones that are usually received well by the fandoms. I don't care if you hate a character that is universally dislike, I want to talk about which beloved characters you despise.

As for my own, I'm a huge fan of Final Fantasy, especially the classics from the SNES and PS1 eras. However, I have always utterly despised Edge Geraldine from Final Fantasy 4. He's a pointless character that undergoes the entirety of his character development within an hour of meeting him, and then proceeds NEVER to grow as a person, even after 17 years pass and FFIV: the After Years happens. Most frustratingly, he's shown as a pseudo love interest for Rydia, one of the best girls from that entire generation of games, but somehow even in TAY 17 years later, he hasn't so much as told her he loves her. I am thoroughly convinced that he doesn't love her at all, and just uses her as an excuse to put off his duties as a ruler of a kingdom, and get his assistants to stop nagging him to find a wife (even though he's got a busty ninja girl absolutely lusting after him).

My hatred of him is so strong that I've literally commissioned artists to draw Rydia having sex with my OCs.

Eren Jaeger from Attack on Titan, right up until the point he became a villain and realised you were *meant* to hate him

Son Goku from Dragonball Z. And to a lesser extent his entire family. But mainly Son Goku.

Except my hatred for him isn't unreasonable. Because Son Goku.

Fucking Misa from Death Note. She single-handedly made me give up on watching the anime. She is so fucking annoying, and she completely ruined the dynamic between L and Light (which was my favorite part of the whole thing).

Probably Bowsette. I am just not a fan of rule63 in general, and I absolutely hated how popular she was. I'm glad people out there like her, but she wasn't for me.

main character doesn't mean they're a hero. Joker is the main character of his movie, and he was the furthest thing from. Main character just means they're the focal point.

Anyways Ozen from Made in aybss, something about her intro scene just pissed me the fuck off, and I always hated how she just fucking, gets away with it, like she reveals her connection to riko’s mom when the robot boy wakes up and then helps them learn to survive better and she gets off Scott free, I wanna see her ass get beat for that intro scene, fuck her

Yeah that one I can definitely agree with.

I hate the majority of the Danganronpa cast. I've played all three games, read through them doing voices and everything for a small audience whole really enjoyed it, but it's hard to think of characters from that series I don't hate. Everytime I see one I get so unreasonably upset even the ones I kind of like. I don't even know what it is they're just all so infuriating. And tiring. I bet I could count on one hand the characters from that series that aren't miserable to interact with and I'd bet most of them are from 2. They're just so.... insipid! And obnoxious! And everything everyone says in those games is either twice as much as they should or a tiny useless pointless unfunny blurb.

I was legit, just about to say this LMAO, I don't think it's anything behind it but I just cannot stand a solid "all" of the people in that game, such a shame too, because I like the music!
