It's so stupid how under tagged stuff is on this site. I'm trying to go away from furry porn but e621 has everything tagged most of the time. I've seen 5 different posts with the only tag other than character being "tagme" I'm gay, so I don't want to see some god damn fat mommy titties, yet here I am with breast on my blacklist, but "big breasts" perceivers. why is this website that way? is there no incentive to tag your own posts?

Mfs too lazy, some doing mass-uploads so they have to cut the tagging effort in favor of uploading effort.

Also, you can also help by properly tagging those, don't just be a complaining sitting duck and also help tagging even if those lazy asses don't do it well.

Sounds unfair, but at the end, SOMEONE has to do it.

To be fair, that shit is also very badly tagged.
Some forget to also add it.
And some add it to any male pic that looks like a femboy or is "canonically gay" despite not being in any gay situation on the pic in question.

As for why nobody tags their posts, I have no idea but outright laziness is my working theory thus far.

As for finding gay-themed images, hi, I'm Lothar and I'm here to help.

The tags "male_only" and to a lesser extent "male_focus" are your best bets overall.

Don't bother searching the "male" tag because a shocking percentage of the results will be paizuri pics in which the only part of the male you can see is either his crotch or his glans.

This may be obvious, but if you find a pic you like, check out the artist's other stuff- Just because one of an artist's pics was properly tagged doesn't mean they all are, and you can help correct that.

Slightly less obvious but often a productive tactic is checking out the other posts from whoever uploaded the pic you like.

Male-specific tags such as "beard", "hairy_chest", "smooth_skinned_male", and "nude_male" can yield good results too, but penis-specific tags will often get you a lot of futanari pics in the mix.

Or, if you like your guys beefy, butch, and hairy (along with some I just thought were cute or funny) then check out my Favorites and work from there.

By the way, the Nazi tag is only if the pic clearly presents a nazi symbolism or scenario, the real-life political orientations of the characters has nothing to do with it.

Like it's said on the Tagging thread, we tag only what we can see, regardless of any background knowledge.

No I'm actually well aware of how and why the tagging system works for the r34 on the basis of appropriate visual queues and why the administration prefers it that way, even in the case of well known political figures. I also know the actual reasons why that tag along with a handful of others get removed by the taggers in question, so I'm just dragging things out until I inevitably bite it again.

Maybe they want to dump a lot, and dont want to spend 5 mins on one, but instead spend 5 mins to post 50. To Let random people tag them along the way. They probably figure trolls will screw up the tags, and why spend time tagging if someones going to crap it up.

I know, I find this really annoying and irritating, too. I think I have a pretty good answer though, and it does correlate with the laziness response. "Why tag something yourself when someone else can do it?" Since anyone can tag anything, there's no real reason to tag a post when you upload it. It kinda takes up time, but so is someone else tagging it for you, but you probably wouldn't care about that, which is unfortunate...
