What's something other roleplayers do that personally bothers you? For me, It's replying to a roleplay by simply restating what I just said, comes off as really lazy and lacking creativity.

Not settling on a perspective/speech designator

"Like it gets confusing for speech to be like this"
and then next it goes to this
*and it pisses me off*
to the point that Transii was about to stab them.

I mean, come on- If you're gonna be inconsistent, save that for when you tell your viewers you definitely have a schedule set up for your videos

Last time something went wrong, my partner was always trying to change the outcome of whatever I did, it was so annoying.

Everytime I tried to do anything, they would always cancel it and do something themselves instead.


-My char wants to invite theirs?
They wouldn't mind my comment, and instead ask them with their own

-I Want to take off their pants?
They would catch my hands and hold them instead

-I wanted to start moving?
They would catch my hips and move them themselves


I swear, this fella had a domming complex or something, they wanted to do everything in that session

When the person isn't female.

Despite being responsive, enthusiastic, and not giving one-liners, they're still no help and don't really know what they want, especially when setting up an RP. No prepared ideas for refs or specific plots to play out (especially when you propose a scenario that functions more like a general setting), not giving clear answers or just not answering a question, and also ignoring your own questions or concerns.

I think the biggest is not reading through my rules or where I say I RP. I've told people that Discord is only for people that I trust. Also just not reading that I want canon characters in most of my roleplays.

Not that anyone has done this, but make sure not to namedrop. Not sure if this'll protect this thread, but best to mention it anyway.

Anyway. Hoo boy, there's a list of rp pet peeves. A long one, so I'll just list a few of them.

Repeated one-liners. I get it, sometimes one-liners are a necessary evil when you don't really have anything to say, but when people constantly use them...urgh.

Forcing kinks, even after mentioning you don't like said kink.

Overattachment.

Lightning-fast responses. Especially with the spam filter.

Asking for personal information.

Puppeting.

And my personal RP pet peeve. Asking for roleplays out of the blue.
The list goes on.

Also I think it's weird if I ask people if they want to hear my RP scenario and then they get mad.

It's kinda the whole point of me asking in the first place. Just say you're only sticking to what you post in the forums and that's the end of it.

vanilla normies, or people who only do random anime characters. ido not watch anime. and i can only play characters i know. so it is INFURIATING to see other fairly limitles speople asking for these random anime waifus. or someone likes the same character i like, and tey say their fetishes are titjobs

another peeve: PAIZURI, TITJOB, BUTTJOB, BOOBS, FACESITTING, AND OTHER ACTIONS DONE IN NORMAL SEX ARE NOT FETISHES!!! STOP LISTED THEM! FEET, INFLATION, FARTS, AND VORE ARE ACTUAL FETISHES YOU GODDAMN VANNILLA MONKIES!

You're actually mad that people don't share the same fucked up fetishes as you do and like other things you don't like.

more of after i list all my crazy kinks. or people KNOW how crazy i am. and ask for only the boring stuff and veto my likes. it's not fun. and happens more than it really should.

As a casual observer, I can see both your points. Since one person's "forbidden kink/fetish/fantasy" is another person's "First Base"/minimum requirement, why not just list everything under "Likes" and "Dislikes" and work from there?

Also, using myself as an example I'm always up for activity "A", up for activity "B" occasionally when the mood strikes me but not always, and up for activity "C" but only in certain circumstances. Is anyone else like this, and if so how do you work that out in RP sessions while avoiding saying "Yes, but not in this session"?

Fetishes are just something you need in order to get off which isn't just basic sex, right? So if you need facesitting for example to get off, then it's a fetish as far as I know. I may be wrong tho

Some people don't realize not everyone is as far gone as they are.

That's why I find myself saying "stuff I'm into" or just "kinks" (even though that still has a certain connotation) rather than "fetishes". None of it is really required but it's just stuff I enjoy. Everyone knows what we mean anyway.

The only things that really bother me are constant one-liners or overtly poor grammar. Other than that I'm pretty easy going (I think/hope).
