If they hate the songs only because they're Christmas songs, I agree. On the other hand you have to admit some Christmas songs ARE objectively bad and would have never been recorded if they weren't holiday-themed, with "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" being one of the worst offenders... in my own personal opinion.

I've got room to talk about other people's preferences in Christmas music because I have a bizarre fascination with inappropriate Christmas In Las Vegas!-style tunes like this one:

You know, this morning 1st thing I did was delete a transphobic argument on fucking Rayman pic of all things.

Which is really why I hate them. Most holiday-themed songs just turn out bad.

Exceptions to that rule:

The first one is a good song, done in a humorous way. The other two are objectively good songs, assuming you like the blues, that happen to be Christmas-themed as well.
