Mod applications here - OPEN
We're looking for new moderators to help keep the site safe and running smoothly. This is a volunteer position with some perks (yes, free name changes included if you like!), so the right motivation matters if you want to help the community and keep your fellow users safe, you're the kind of person we're looking for.
Who can apply:
Active on the site for at least 6 months with a clean record during that time
Have done some tagging (you'll be adding and approving tags, so if you haven't done any yet, go try it out!)
Ideally around a year of activity overall
No current mods on our other sites of the same nature/ handling two R34 mod jobs just doesn't work in practice.
Older minor warnings are fine, ideally none recent
What you'll be doing:
Moderating images, comments, and posts to make sure everything follows the Terms of Service
Checking image/media info and tags for TOS compliance
Working through report queues, some of every queue each day, including the new user upload queue about 10
mins a day, or 15 mins a few times a week.
Communicating with users: answering questions about the site, explaining deletion reasons, issuing warnings
when needed.
Working as a team, sharing updates, asking for support, and keeping each other in the loop
Requirements:
Fluent, near native English. you'll be communicating with users and staff fairly often.
Comfortable processing all types of content, including some disturbing material this is a big part of the
role, so make sure you're okay with it
Able to cover a few hours a week (this fluctuates a little bit).
Willing to handle all aspects of the site if comments or forums aren't your thing, this role probably isn't
the right fit since mods work across every queue
Must agree with the full Terms of Service before applying
Discord: Discord is essential for updates, quick communication, team support. We use text only, so don't worry about that. You'll need to go on discord to stay up to date with team announcements and current events.
