and in all honesty if people are tagging pictures things only they will understand then it's not helpful to the site because it's only serving themselves, tags like "gross" and "disgusting" are highly ambiguous and could mean anything at all.

I find feet to be gross and disgusting but I'm not about to selfishly tag every picture that makes feet a main feature as "gross" or "disgusting."

The fact of the matter is this happens where people will tag unclear completely ambiguous tags that can't even be considered aliases to anything because they are so ambiguous.
While such tags may be useful to the creator they mess with every other users blacklists and searches too.

Lol, just do yourself a favor. Don't mess with peoples tags. When someone marks something as gross, its usually pretty gross. Its a good general blacklist tag. If people want to be more picky about it, then they need to tag it exactly why its gross, and most people do. Amputation, vore, etc. But the people like me do have gross in our blacklist (and weird) and were pretty satisfied with it. I trust whoever marked it as such probably had a good reason, and I really don't want it flashing up as a thumbnail. For whatever reason, the picture was "gross". If you don't want
gross tags blacklisted, don't put gross in your blacklist. Put something more specific that you do want blocked. Gross is a tag that covers many subgroups and thats why a lot of us like it. Its good, simple, and probably blacklists a lot of what we hate.

Dude, thats probably Japanese Kanji or Cyrillic, etc. and your browser is displaying it improperly in ASCII. The way you can tell is because those are all ASCII characters that aren't on the keyboard, and are typically what are produced when your browser doesn't know how to print the Russian or Japanese characters. Don't delete them. They're real tags.

I would only remove tags that are clearly eronious or ambigious and obviously if they do not pertain to the subject matter.

As for Kanji or Cyrillic, I don't see the harm in leaving some forien language tags, but the ones that look like garbled tags wont search right no doubt and therefore are probably useless.

Bottom line, this is an English only site, therefore any other language is not allowed, the fact that it remains in tags is more of a courtesy than anything.

I watch all tags removed, if someone removes something they should not I shall message them about it :)

It doesn't really look like the usual mismatched ASCII, its too many of the same characters. I would say your right about that one. I think its made up garbage too, though I don't know why anyone would do that. In Kanji, and Cyrillic, your going to see a lot more of the square's with four numbers in them, and a lot more different characters. This string has too many of the same ones to be real.

The corrupt tags appear to be from whereever the picture was transferred from; this site does support unicode tags. Recovering what the tag should be from the garbled nonsense might be a challenge

Well, if this site supports unicode, and the tag isn't showing up, then I'd say it is garbage. Even if it was real at once, as you say, it probably isn't recoverable. I'm on an XP machine right now though, and unicode isn't showing up for me, so I can't really tell.

However, I was just looking at what OneGuy posted, and before I could see two unicode tags ( two squares with 4 numbers in it ) and now I can't see them. So, something may be wrong with the site. This is strange.

I can see it showing up as unknown unicode characters, so I guess the site is displaying right. My XP machine just doesn't know how to display it as Kanji. So it looks like OneGuy is right about that string being garbage, and therefore, probably all the strings like that are garbage.

I don't mean to derail the conversation, but it seems to me this would be the correct thread to post this in. What exactly is the point of some of these angry, abusive, or sometimes just stupid sounding tags. I mean sometimes it's hard to tell what they mean. I've gathered that the "Make_love_not_war" tag has to do with canonically fighting characters 'making love' but what exactly is the point of the "bitch" "dumb_bitch" "Dumb_blonde" "Dumb_Slut" tags?

Or some of the other tags like "Bitch_in_heat" how is that any different from the plain "horny" tag?

And what the heck is the meaning of "Pussy_Wet_Bitch" that can't be covered by some other tag, or a combination of other tags?

Lol, thats what aliases are for.

People tag stuff abusivlely or angry or stupidly, before they are syncronised to this site, I monitor the tags added here and typically our users don't add tags like that, they come that way.

We don't currently have time to remove such tags, but you can feel free to remove any of the dumb tags etc which obviously serve no purpose.

The funniest thing about the dumb_blonde tag is that I've seen in it pics without anyone having blonde hair. I've also seen pussy_wet_bitch in some futa pictures where the characters have no pussy at all.

Yeah, thats tag poisoning. Labeling something that isn't there.
