Best Foods You Ate In High School
What foods did you think are the best to eat when you were in high school?

The best foods I liked in high School was the triangle cheese pizza b/c it was gooey & the apple crisp although it was made at least once a month.

HANDS DOWN, THE quesadillaS. SO FUCKING GOOD I remember the taste and texture, nothing like it. Thick with cheese and microwaved to perfection.

We were allowed to go off campus for lunch and there was a deli nearby that made an incredible reuben. One of those, washed down with an energy drink and I had some real pep in my step by sixth period Spanish

They used to make a very very nice baguette with cheese and pepperoni in it. If you got there at the start of lunch it was the go to since it was warm and just so delicious

I used to eat sausage rolls every lunch time. The brand name of those sausage rolls? Big Fella. We didn't have any fancy shit.

If you mean food I ate in high school as in from the high school cafeteria, the food at both the high schools I went to was overwhelmingly "meh", and I can't recall a single specific dish I ate at either one.

If you mean food I ate while I was in high school, then the local Mexican fast food restaurant was it: Bean Burrito $1.25, Beef or Beef & Bean Combo Burrito $1.50, with no cheap rice filler to pad them out, just real filling top to bottom and end to end. A #1 Combo was a taco, a tamale with chili on it, an enchilada, a salad, plus Spanish rice and refried beans for around five or six bucks.

All of that for six dollars? Dude, that sounds like a full family meal practically. Inflation really is a bitch

We had these things called Pizza Crunchers. They're essentially Mozzarella bites, but they had both cheese and sauce inside them. they were the bomb.

Keep in mind Lothar grew up in like the 70s or something, so everything to us was cheap back then

True, that would have been early 1980s. A #1 Combo is now $9.69, according to their website.
