How often have you been confused for a girl here?

Okay, basically, something rather funny tends to happen to me... which is people confusing me for a girl, often interpreting my comments a bit differently than what I meant.

It seems to happen EXTREMELY often though and once someone DMed me telling me I "write like I want some dick". So that's... fun.

SO, I was curious, fellas! How often have YOU been confused for a girl in this site?

Amusingly it actually happened to me once. Then I told them to read my name and that was the end of the interaction, they never responded. lol

Like three times I think so far.
Doesn't happen often, but I string them along for like 5 awkward DMs before they drop the gender question.

You can't say you get confused as one when you name yourself and pretend you are one.
You are not getting confused as one at all, they take you for what you put yourself out as.

No. But relating to that, even if you are a girl I don't see why you would ever want to openly say that you are a girl on this site. You would get bombarded with 9000 messages in 5 seconds all saying things like "are you a real girl?" and "show boob"

A couple of times. Some people don't get the "boi" part of my name. And it's never really all too funny, they make the mistake, I correct them, they never respond. Never a sorry or angry message telling me I've led them on or something, just boring peeps.

It is getting confused when a message comes from a forum post and not a comment. You do realize there are other ways to contact people than just comments, right?
