when going through the tag list there was more then 50 pages of the same tag, "canine". why?

After going to the tag page and doing some math, I came to this conclusion.

The canine tag was added to over 20,000 pictures within an hour.

Obviously, that's not right.

Because the furries are into "Canines". As for the 20,000 , probably something to do with the tagging software.

yea i been seeing that around so what the with the word "canines" does anyone know what it mean?

well actually canine is the family which Dogs, wolves and the such are a part of.
