Ben Solo is a character from the new sequel trilogy of Star Wars films.
He is the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa Solo. Ben trained to become a Jedi under Luke Skywalker's tutelage.
He was turned to the Dark Side of the Force by the evil Supreme Leader Snoke and became Kylo Ren. Ben killed other aspiring Jedi students and destroyed Luke's new Jedi Academy. After this Luke went into a self-imposed exile out of pity for his loss.
Ben first appeared in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film from 2015.
