brood guards are a unique type of eliksni from house of light, they undertake having larger amounts of ether and food to vastly increase their size and weight to allow themselves to greatly produce more offspring at once and or to increase their size and with excess fat to act as a protective layer to their bodies, trading off their agility with increased strength and resilience, sometimes they would have an infertile clutch but it would act as increased body mass giving them a more bigger presence, when not given tasks to protect hatchlings they would also be open to hire to the Vanguard as bodyguards for individuals or groups of other eliksni in the last city as their size would deter most aside from guardians from attacking said individual or group, despite their intimidating size they are quite friendly and don't tend to aggravate anyone into starting a commotion, but would need to stay focused while on duty, it was rumored that Eido from house of light also became a brood guard to compete and withheld the Spider from starting any gang wars in the city and stopping him from barreling other eliksni who did not follow his orders, there was another rumor about that she also saved the Drifter from a boarding incident with the Drifter being astonished from her massive presence and keeping it as a semi secret, and so the rumor goes according from a curious ghost who would hang out at the eliksni quarter with his guardian at the last city.
