No probably, actually! Although children of incestuous couples are indeed more likely to suffer birth defects, that difference is actually quite small.
While direct couplings (like parent/child and sibling relationships) are indeed noticeably risky, theyre still more likely to have a perfectly fine child than not.
Meanwhile, the increase in risk for first-cousin couplings is so small that its practically nonexistent.
The risk of defects only goes from possible to probable after several generations of incestuous relationships.
