Erm clearly these artists arent experienced with the Super Mario video game series. Mushrooms do NOT change the proportions of an individual or change their structural anatomy, all it does is make them bigger. Smh. I oughta take you to court.

Erm. Actually, super mushrooms do change the proportions, as you can see in multiple 2d games, when mario gets a mushroom his head size stays relatively the same, while his body grows substantially more. Also it is shown to change anatomy, even if in a small scale, as when a toad gets a mushroom their heads change coloration, the white spots becoming colored and vice-versa, so we can assume the mushroom changed the pigmentation on their heads, therefore changing anatomy.
