Finally! I've managed to create a proper inner circle of companions for a noble Rogue Trader such as I! But... how should I reward them all and make them know I appreciate their loyalty? Whatever I decide upon I should probably make sure to do it on my most prized planet that I won, my paradise world. Oh and to also save up a couple months or years for it in my schedule separate from my duties as a rogue trader. ---------------------------------------- Though while I've made sure they all like and adore me to some degree, both as my wish and a necessity to avoid accusations of heresy, things haven't been as simple for the others... The sister of battle is the most noticeable and extreme, being at odds with the xenos plus the navigator while also arguing with the tech priest every now and again and yet worshiping the grey knight as if she's the daughter of the emperor! ---------------------------------------- The grey knight is an interesting and unexpected one as she seems to get fine with everyone. The xenos she doesn't care about as her job is to deal with chaos, in fact she treats them as allies in her fight against chaos due to the t'au's dim soul being innately good against chaos like a blank and the eldars hatred of slaanesh. With the navigator she seems to get along with well due to their shared psychic powers and yet also the least due to the potential chaos threat that she might accidentally cause. ---------------------------------------- The tech priest has been an odd case. Half the time she does as expected, speaking quiet accusations of xenos tech heresy and yet... sometimes I swear I hear her speaking honeyed words to them, even occasionally seeing them scurry off to corners of my ship for 'analysis' ~ ---------------------------------------- The earth caste t'au is brilliant as her attempts to get along with all the others, with mixes results, makes me see her as a version of myself. I make sure to keep her by my side as my unofficial right hand to ensure nothing happens to her. ---------------------------------------- The drukhari... is quite fun ~ She seems to get along with all the others in her own unique way that I've had the joy to endure personal experience in the secrecy of my private quarters ~ The aeldari corsair and her often insult each other and argue a lot but I have a feeling it's in a competitive and teasing manner most of the time ~ ---------------------------------------- I've also had to put a lot of work keeping both the eldar safe during each and every jump from the either having to rely on a mixture of the sister of battle's and/or the grey knight's faith, the navigator's and/or the grey knight's psychic powers, the mere presence of the t'au thanks to her dim soul, the eldar's own unique methods of holding it back plus my aid in all the previously mentioned methods and my general comfort provided.
