It's frustrating to watch someone as talented as BlackJr keep hampering their art with Source Film Maker. The animation itself is always great but the lighting and physics are terrible and you can literally count the characters' polygons. Just look at Cammy's PS2-ass shoulders here.

If it's voiced, animated, and looks good enough then the jump isn't totally necessary. Blender looks better of course but that's also a jump in hardware, completely different model sets/tools, whole new process to learn to boot, and most likely a slower output of content. Plus there's still plenty of Blender animations that look like ass. IMO if a user's great with a piece of software then let em' rock instead of forcing a migration.
