The lone wanderer finds out the hard way that not every light in the sky is a distant star.
Floating, the Lone Wanderer finds herself drawn into the air from the very earth she slept on....
Still floating, she drifts helplessly off to soundless sleep as the abduction module's ray draws her deeper and deeper...
Stripped naked and suspended, the poor heroine finds herself ferried, butt-first, towards her fate...
Of course-- that fate involves rectal spelunking. What, you thought these aliens wouldn't observe the majesty of the human ass? Get real.
Soon after, she finds herself strapped into a machine. Hosed and piped, she finds her body pumped and pulsated -- and her mind similarly twisted like a stripper 'round a pole. Thoughts are sucked out and programmings are pulsed in, and the lines between reality and nightmare blur.
Suspended in stasis and bubbling in goo, she sleeps unaware of the batch-printed doppelgangers that bob up and down next to her; a manufacturing line of lookalikes...
Back in the Capital Wasteland again, our intrepid explorer awakens with a new twinkle in her eye -- presuming it was all a dream and going on her merry way. She'll never question the faint scars around her navel where she was detached from the cloning pod, nor why her brain feels 'fuzzy' sometimes due to input lag... A good end, considering? Maybe? Who knows.
