I love how Shepard kept on getting new restraints every time she found a different way of striking him.

I love how fierce and willful she is, and how The Illusive Man has to escalate the restraints used in order to tame her. Makes his victory even sweeter.

After crossing the Illusive Man over and over, he decided that he wanted more than to just punish Shepard. He wanted to humiliate and break her. She fought hard to resist, but every time she did, he only humiliated her further.
