Sadly the creators of this show are either too arrogant or too stupid (or both) to write redemption arcs, or write main characters/lead protagonists with flaws.

14542929 What the hell are you talking about? Literally the series is only based on highlighting the perfection of the protagonist to the point that no one can improve since it will overshadow the protagonist It doesn't have to do with whether you like the character or not, but if you give him some development and then abruptly cut him off, it only shows how poorly done the script is.
