Kappa uses a special sorcery technique in which they insert their arm inside the prey's anus, solidifying the prey's soul causing it to be excreted as a "Shirikodama" so one must be careful when fighting the kappas. However, it's rare for a high-combatant JK to fall into such a special situation where the kappa insert's their hand into their asshole so the kappas are classified as a low-threat demon.

"Shirikodama" is something that Japanese used to believe in the olden days. It's a mythical ball inside the anus, and it's that they take it for the purpose of drinking the victim's blood, eating their livers or gaining powers by eating their "Shirikodama"（尻子玉）.
