I would think that lobotomy would make sense for the combine,

^ actually your correct the combine remove the hands and legs (at the knee) and replace them with mechanical counter parts. I think they put a metal plate over the eyes or forehead but that’s supposedly what the combine look like under the suits but ofc that could vary on unit like the elites, assassins, suppressors and so on
