Quite simple. Pikachu has electric attacks. Goodras are goo creatures, which means they are mostly water. And Dragonites have their scaly skin, which is a good dielectric... Probably.

nope. dragon resists electric and flying is weak to it, meaning it's neutral on pearl and opal resists it. best case scenario, pearl would be immune to ground moves or would resist bug type ones
