Clearly, the horse is an aughisky -- a river spirit that likes to coax young women to ride on it's back, as it takes the form of a dark horse. It's powers of illusion are strong indeed, so they can't smell the water-weeds tangled in his mane, see the gleam of red in his eyes, or spot the mouthful of terribly un-horse-like, needle-sharp teeth.Aughisky are carnivores and prefer only the sweetest of meat to dine upon.Once she is upon the aughisky's back, the illusions begin to fade, even as his other power unfurls. Everywhere she touches him, his hard body becomes softer and more pliable, trapping every part of her against him... and in some cases like hands, slightly inside him. Once trapped like this, there is no way she can be freed. Some of the water-horses delight in the terror of their captives, taking them on wild gallops, not stopping until their sides are heaving and steam rises from their slick coat.The aughisky then returns home to his river. The water begins to dissolve the bindings, but the spirit beast is now very vigilant, with a meal so near. They prefer their meals drowned and cool to the touch. Fortunately, in the interim, there is plenty to entertain the water horse. It's a race to see whether she drowns first... or if he hilts himself entirely inside her tiny holes.Either way, both will happen before he feasts.
