well i know that this will get disliked but this is the story this picture tells me: in this version of the standard sonic timeline vanilla dies and/or get enslaved/roboticized with no cure. after getting sent to some of sonic's friends who could be potential parents except none of them work out for one reason or another. and after running away from the last potential parent she bumps into rouge who offers to take her in. cream reluctantly agrees and fast forward 6-8 months later cream became what we see here.
