In order to simplify things, I created a webm file with all the pictures in this set. However, if you want each individual frame in a much higher resolution, follow the pixiv link in the source where you can find just that.

It's not bad like this, but I think my preference would be to have this in one long strip - one frame below another vertically. Easier to decide how long you want to spend on each frame yourself.

Hmm, comic-strip like... Well, let's see: the benefits are that I could have all the frames put together at their highest quality and resolution. Also, like you mentioned, it'd be easier to look at each picture individually than through a video, since going full screen and having to pause to go back and forth is more complicated than just scrolling. So there's definitely something nice there.

However, the problem with a comic-strip would be the size of the image, both how many pixels it takes up and how many MB's it would weigh. In the case of this image, let's do some math: at their full resolution, each image is 3200 x 1800 px, and there's 20 images, so that's 3200 x (1800 x 20) px = 3200 x 36000 px! That'd be a lot of scrolling to do! As for the matter of size, the highest resolution available makes each image weigh around 2 MB, so that'd be 2 x 20 = 40 MB just for one picture. As a reference, this video is only 9.75 MB.

Now the reason I bring that up is because a file so big could be really difficult for some people to open. Users that have slow computers and / or slow internet would take ages loading the image, if it even loads at all before the site just crashes! In fact, when I'm on my phone, I've had a lot of instances of the site crashing when I'm trying to open really big images / videos. I know there's always the option of compressing the images or making them smaller pixel-wise, but that kind of beats the purpose of the idea.

So with all that being said, I still think the idea of uploading sets of images in a comic-strip-like format can work on smaller sets, like when it's only a few pictures that need to be put together. The next time I make a small set of pictures, I'll go ahead and give that a try to see how people like it. But for huge image sets like this one, it may not be the best idea.
