Except for one thing... HARKON DIDN'T TURN HER! She was turned by Molag-Bal in the ritual of ColdHarbour. It's implied it involves the girl being fucked by the Daedra, and if they survive they are turned into a vampire. If ANYTHING it would have been the other way around..

I'm really fucking late here, but as Serana is the daughter of two vampires, she would've been born vampiric. The ritual of Coldharbour is simply a rite female vampires undergo. It didn't turn her into a vampire, it just made her a stronger one. She would've been vampiric from birth.
