@Anonymous: This series had a manga & WonderSwan video game that was released BEFORE the anime was in production let alone dubbed by one of the worst dubbing companies in BurgerLand USA. Despite it being a Pokemon clone, it was popular enough to get its own anime feature on FujiTV. The generic music & awful food puns & gags of the 4kids dub is intelligent insulting compared to what the Japanese audience saw in their uncut uncensored version on FujiTV. In the dub they replaced the guns of Hot Dog (Hot Doggonit's real name when translated from Japanese) with ketchup & mustard guns.

@Anonymous: It's a bad because the 4kids dub is bad. It never has gotten a sub release. Little people are aware this anime was released in Japanese before being dubbed by 4kids. The 4kids dub doesn't take the whole thing seriously, especially with the awful intelligent insulting dialogue, which is why it's an awful dub. The Japanese release on their hand takes the series more seriously & the OP & ED are 10x better than the cringe 4kids OP. In the Japanese release, the kids & food monsters are actually fighting for their lives. But good luck finding the Japanese release since it's super rare.
