You walk slam the door to the shack behind you, fuming after an argument with a boyfriend. You just need some air. Quickly you march into the forest, occasionally looking back to make sure you're not followed. Soon it is apparent you wont be bothered and you slow your pace, following the path through the dense trees. As you slowly fume off your anger and just try to enjoy the nature around you, you notice a path that veers off the normal one, almost obscured by trees. Why not follow the new path and adventure is always fun, you think to yourself now smiling. You clamber over the blocking trees until you are on the new smaller path. After what feels like an hour of wandering, though it's probably much less, you come across a very odd tree. There had been plenty of trees grown onto the path that needed you to just carefully step over a few roots, but non like this one. It has no leafs on its' many branches but doesn't look dead. On top of that, the tree and its' roots are covered in odd barky slits that almost look like they could open. You chuckle to yourself at the thought and carefully step over the root. But of course something catches your leg and you fall onto your face. Grumbling and picking yourself up, happy no one saw your embarrassing fall, you notice your leg wont move. Looking back you see what appears to be a vine wrapped around your leg. Following it with your eyes, you see it leads to the opposite side of the tree and you can't see where it originated from.
I love the way those tenta-cocks are drawn. Swollen and bloated, those tips engorged and drooling. Something about the grossness and excess actually makes them really sexy :)
